Engagement & social listening
The Engagement tab points at a conversation instead of a follower list. Any tweet, handle, or phrase becomes a filtered list of people you can actually message.
Why engagement beats a follower dump
A follower list tells you someone was interested in an account, once, possibly years ago. An engagement list tells you someone typed something about a topic this week. That difference shows up directly in reply rates.
The four sources

Preview first — it is free
Before spending anything, hit Preview. XAutoDM pulls one page from the source and shows you three numbers plus a sample of real profiles.
On first page
How many profiles the source returned on one page. A plus sign means there is more behind it.
Can be DM'd
How many of those can actually receive a message. This is the number that matters.
DM-able rate
The percentage. It is the honest predictor of what a full scrape will cost you per usable lead.
Two ways out: scrape once, or go Live
Scrape once
Set how many DM-able leads you want and run it. You get a saved lead list, and the campaign wizard opens with it already selected. Best for a specific tweet or a moment that has already happened.
Go Live
Hands the same source to a Live trigger campaign that keeps watching and DMs new people as they appear. Best for an ongoing keyword or a handle you want to monitor.
Picking sources that work
Start with your own audience
Repliers on your own posts already know who you are. Cheapest possible warm list.
Then a competitor's threads
People replying to a rival's post about the problem you solve are in-market right now.
Then intent phrases
Keyword sources scale furthest, but only with a phrase close to a buying signal. Write the sentence a frustrated buyer would actually type.
Filter before you launch
Filtering a fetched list by bio keywords, follower range, or verification costs nothing. Always narrow before sending.
Point it at a conversation
Preview any tweet, handle, or phrase for free and see how many people you could actually reach.
