    Twitter advanced search FAQ

    What is Twitter advanced search?

Twitter (X) advanced search lets you filter results by exact phrases, accounts, dates, language, and engagement thresholds instead of a plain keyword search. This tool builds the query string for you and opens it directly on X.

How do I search Twitter by date?

Use the since: and until: operators, for example: marketing since:2026-01-01 until:2026-03-31. Set the date range in this tool and it writes those operators into the query for you.

How do I find tweets from a specific person?

Use from:handle to see their posts, to:handle for replies sent to them, and @handle for posts mentioning them. Combine any of those with keywords to narrow further.

How do I find only popular tweets?

Use min_faves:, min_retweets: or min_replies: with a number, for example min_faves:500. Setting an engagement floor is the fastest way to filter out noise on a broad keyword.

Can I search Twitter without an account?

Search results on X increasingly require a logged-in session. This tool builds a valid search URL either way, but you may be prompted to log in when it opens.

How do I exclude replies or links from results?

Add -filter:replies to drop replies and -filter:links to drop posts containing links. Both are available as checkboxes in the builder above.

Turn a search into a lead list

Advanced search finds the right conversations. If you want the people in them as a contact list — filtered to who can actually receive a DM — that is what XAutoDM does.
