    Contents

DMPro sits in the X cold-DM category, alongside Xreacher, Drippi and us. We build a competing product, so treat the framing here as informed rather than neutral, and check the current feature list yourself before buying anything.

The more useful thing we can offer is the set of questions that actually separate tools in this category, because they are not the ones the landing pages compete on.

    What the category does

Every tool here does roughly the same core loop: get a list of X accounts, send each one a message, follow up if they do not reply. The products diverge on everything around that loop rather than on the sending itself.

Sending is the commodity. What surrounds it is not.

    The five questions worth asking

    1. Where does the list come from?

The biggest real difference between tools. Some make you bring a CSV. Some scrape followers. Some pull the people who replied to a specific post, which is a live intent signal rather than a demographic guess.

If a tool only accepts uploads, you still have the targeting problem and you have only bought a sender.

    2. Does it filter to people who can actually receive a DM?

Most X accounts only accept messages from people they follow. Send to them anyway and the message fails, which wastes the attempt and, worse, contributes a pattern of failed sends that X reads badly.

Ask specifically whether the tool checks this before sending rather than reporting it afterwards.

    3. Do follow-ups stop when someone replies?

Sounds obvious. It is the single most common complaint about outreach tooling across every channel, because a follow-up that arrives after a reply reads as automated in a way nothing else does.

    4. Where does the reply land?

Most tools stop at "sent". If replies go back to X's native inbox with no stages, no notes and no way to tell a booked call from a brush-off, you have automated the easy half and left the half that produces revenue manual.

    5. How is pacing enforced?

The important one, and the one that gets sold backwards. X publishes a 500-a-day ceiling. From what we measure, the rate that holds without a restriction is roughly 30 a day verified and 7 unverified.

A tool advertising hundreds of DMs a day from one account is quoting the published ceiling. The account that gets restricted is yours. Our DM limit calculator shows a sustainable rate by account age and tier, and why account age changes your DM limit explains why a new account cannot carry what an established one can.

    What that means for choosing

Run those five questions against DMPro, against us, and against whatever else is on your shortlist. The answers will differ more than the pricing pages do.

The honest summary of our own position: XAutoDM builds the list from scraping (followers, thread repliers, keyword matches, list members), filters to DM-able accounts before sending, stops sequences on reply, and puts replies in a pipeline with stages and notes. We price per connected X account rather than per message, because scaling on X means adding accounts rather than pushing one harder.

We do not do scheduling, analytics or content, and we are not the cheapest tool in the category.

The thing nobody in this category should promise

Account safety. Nobody can guarantee it, including us. X changes its thresholds without notice, and any vendor implying your account is protected is describing a risk they do not carry.

What a tool can reasonably do is default to a conservative rate, spread sends across the day rather than bursting, and stop when something looks wrong. That is the whole of what is on offer, and it is worth choosing on.

    Short version

Sending is the commodity in this category. Compare on list building, DM-able filtering, reply-stop behaviour, where replies land, and how pacing is enforced. Treat any advertised send volume above roughly 30 a day per verified account as a published ceiling rather than a sustainable rate, and remember the account carrying that risk is yours rather than the vendor's.
