Book demos from founders already tweeting about your problem
Your buyers describe their problem in public every day. Pull them off X into a filtered list, message them while it is still fresh, and turn the replies into calls.

Cold email is crowded. Your buyers are on X.
- Every inbox you can buy a list for is already being emailed by six competitors.
- LinkedIn wants a connection request first, then a wait, then maybe a message.
- Meanwhile someone tweets your exact problem statement and nobody replies to them.

Target the intent, not the job title
Search X for the sentence your buyer actually types — "looking for a tool that", "anyone know how to" — and collect the people posting it. Intent beats firmographics, because they told you the problem in their own words.

A warm audience beats a bought list
Scrape the repliers on a competitor's launch thread, or the followers of a tool that sits next to yours in the stack. These people already self-selected into your category, which is why reply rates hold up.

Personalize from their own profile
Merge their name, bio and follower count into every message, run two or three variants at once, and add follow-ups that stop the moment somebody answers. No two DMs go out identical.

Pace it so the account survives the quarter
Every send runs under a safe daily limit with human-like timing and a warm-up ramp. You scale by connecting another account, never by pushing one account harder.

Questions
Does cold DM on X actually work for B2B?+
It works when the targeting is intent-based rather than a bought list. Someone who tweeted about the problem this week is a fundamentally different prospect from a name on a spreadsheet, and the message can reference what they actually said.
How is this different from cold email?+
Volume is lower and relevance is much higher. You are not buying a list, you are selecting people from something they published, and the message arrives in a channel that is far less crowded than their email inbox.
How many DMs can I send per day?+
It depends on the account. A verified account has a considerably higher safe daily limit than an unverified one, and every account ramps up gradually over its first two weeks. The limits are documented in full in the pacing guide.
Will this get my account restricted?+
The whole product is built around not doing that: conservative per-account caps that no setting can raise, human-like timing, a warm-up ramp, and follow-ups that stop on reply. You add accounts to increase volume rather than pushing one harder.
What should the first message say?+
Reference the specific thing they posted, be concrete about the outcome you deliver, and ask one easy question. Pitching in the first DM is the most common reason these campaigns fail.
Can I use my personal founder account?+
Yes, and it usually performs better than a brand account. Founder accounts get replies that company accounts do not. Just keep the pacing conservative, since it is an account you care about.
How do I know if it is working?+
Reply rate is the health check on your messaging, and calls booked is the number that matters. Both are tracked per account, so you can see whether a weak result is the copy or one specific profile.
Do I need to scrape, or can I bring my own list?+
Either. Upload a CSV of handles and XAutoDM enriches each one and checks whether they can receive a DM, or scrape a fresh audience from a keyword, competitor or thread.
