Drippi AI is no longer worth your money, because there is nothing left to buy. When we checked drippi.ai on 13 October 2026, the homepage read "Drippi has shut down" and "The product is no longer operating." Subscriptions were cancelled, and the brand, its customer database and its codebase are listed for sale. If you searched for a Drippi review, the questions that matter now are what happens to your account and data, and which Drippi alternative fits the way you used it.
We make XAutoDM, which competed with Drippi, so keep that in mind as you read. We checked every competitor fact below on that competitor's own site on 13 October 2026.
The short answer
- The product is shut down. The last archived capture of it running live is from 1 September 2026.
- According to the notice, subscriptions were cancelled and billing stopped at shutdown.
- The customer database is part of the asset sale. To have your data deleted, send a request to the contact on drippi.ai.
- The closest replacements are XAutoDM for X-only cold DMs priced per account, Xreacher for many accounts or several channels, and DMpro or Xollo if you want another AI-led tool priced per seat.
What happened to drippi AI
The shutdown page thanks "the tens of thousands of founders, creators, and agencies who used Drippi to run outreach on X" and then lists what is for sale:
| Asset | How Drippi describes it |
|---|---|
| drippi.ai domain | Aged .ai domain with backlinks and ranking blog content |
| Customer database | "Tens of thousands of opted-in signups and paying customers" |
| X user database | A "~300M account dataset that powered Drippi's lead discovery and filtering" |
| Product codebase | "The full Drippi application" |
Offers go through escrow as an asset sale. The page is signed Drippi Labs Inc.
Drippi hasn't said publicly why it closed, so we won't guess. What we can see is that the product changed direction late. The Wayback Machine capture from 1 September 2026 shows Drippi repositioned as "Twitter/X Infra For Top 1% Outbound Agencies". It announces "official X API & BYO keys" and pitches adding X handles to existing cold email and LinkedIn leads. Drippi started as an AI DM writer for solo founders, which is a long way from that.
What drippi did and what it cost
At its peak, Drippi sold AI-written personalization. It read a lead's profile and wrote an opener for that person instead of filling a {name} template. It also had a lead finder that matched people by occupation, industry and interests, an inbox sorted by AI, and follow-ups.
Pricing on the last live capture (1 September 2026):
| Plan | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $100/mo | 1 X account seat, 2,000 DM credits, 200 XNavigator credits per month |
| Agency | From $248/mo | 3 to 30 accounts, same credits per account, Slack support, API access |
| Enterprise | $2,000/mo | Done-with-you rollout for 25+ client accounts, volume pricing |
Earlier plans were cheaper on paper but still high for a first test, and that was the complaint we heard most. A founder in r/SaaS, u/Basic-Plankton3537, explained why they built their own tool instead:
"Drippi existed but wanted $115/month before I could even test it."
That describes the price as they saw it then, not a current figure. The advice holds for whichever tool you try next: test it on your own leads before you commit a three-figure monthly budget.
What former drippi users should do now
- Export what you can. If your login still works, save your lead lists, templates and any conversation history, and assume it will not work for long.
- Request deletion of your data. The shutdown notice gives a contact for deletion requests, and your account details sit in a database that is for sale, so ask now.
- Check your card statement. Billing should have stopped at shutdown, so a later charge is a dispute, not a renewal.
- Check your X account. If Drippi had session access to it, review connected apps and active sessions in your X settings and log out anything you do not recognize.
- Don't rebuild the same setup blindly. Note what got replies: the AI openers, the lead source, or the follow-ups. That tells you which replacement fits.
Drippi alternatives compared

| Tool | Entry price | Best for | How it differs from Drippi |
|---|---|---|---|
| XAutoDM | $29/mo per X account | Founders and agencies doing X cold DMs carefully | Per-account pricing, follow-ups stop on reply, reply pipeline with stages, paced sending with warm-up |
| Xreacher | $67/mo (1 seat per platform) | Agencies with many accounts, or X plus LinkedIn and Telegram | AI chatbot answers replies, Scale is $299 for 100 seats |
| DMpro | $97/mo for 1 account ($73/mo billed yearly) | Solo operators who want AI personalization and a hard cap | Caps at 250 DMs a day per account, 7-day money-back guarantee |
| Xollo | $87 per seat/month | B2B teams shifting from LinkedIn to X | Sequences mix DMs with likes, comments and follows |

If Xreacher is on your shortlist, our Xreacher review covers its pricing and limits in detail. We wrote the earlier Drippi vs Xreacher comparison while Drippi was still running, so treat its Drippi half as history.
Choosing a replacement
Pick the replacement based on what Drippi did for you.
If you relied on the AI-written openers, remember that much of what made Drippi's messages land was targeting, not prose. Personalization still matters. XAutoDM personalizes from each lead's profile with merge variables (name, handle, bio, follower count) and A/B variants, which covers most of what a first line needs. AI-written openers are on our roadmap but not live yet. If you can't do without them, DMpro and Xreacher both offer AI message generation today.
If you relied on the lead database, Drippi's 300M-profile dataset went with it. The replacement is building lists from live sources: a competitor's followers, people replying to or retweeting a relevant post, keyword searches, list members. In XAutoDM those all filter to people who can receive a DM before you spend a send.
If you ran an agency, the number to compare is price per active account. XAutoDM sells fixed buckets: Solo is $29 for 1 account, Growth $125 for 5, Scale $199 for 10, with agency pricing by email and yearly at 10 times monthly. Xreacher Scale at $299 for 100 seats is cheaper per seat if you run that many.
If you cared about not getting flagged, look for pacing inside safe daily limits, a warm-up ramp for new accounts, and follow-ups that stop on reply. No tool makes automation risk-free, and any that says so is overselling. Our post on whether automated DM outreach is safe explains what drives restrictions.

If you are moving off Drippi this week, create an XAutoDM account and look around first. Scraping and sending need a paid plan, from $29/mo per connected X account, so you can check the workflow before you spend anything.
Your next customer is already on X.
Find the people talking about what you sell, message them on a safe schedule, and turn the replies into booked calls.
- Scrape leads from any tweet, keyword or X List
- Auto-DM new followers and people who engage
- Follow-ups that stop the moment someone replies
- Safe daily limits and warm-up, built in
- Every reply tracked through to a booked call
Plans from $29/mo · cancel anytime.
