Twitter Follower Tracker
Check any public X account's follower count and see the change since your last visit. No login, no API key.
How Twitter follower tracking works
A follower tracker records an account's numbers on a schedule and shows you the difference. X does not publish a history, so any tracker, including this one, can only see the past from the day it started watching. For every account you check here, tracking starts today.
This page reads the public profile, shows followers, following and posts, and saves those three numbers in your own browser. Check the same handle tomorrow and the page shows what changed, with a small chart of every check you have made. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data clears the history.
What X does and does not expose
X shows the total follower count of any public account. It does not show when each person followed, and it does not list who unfollowed. A total that goes up by 40 could be 60 new followers and 20 lost ones, and the count alone cannot tell you which.
How to see who unfollowed
The only reliable way is to compare two full follower lists taken on different days. Anyone in the first list who is missing from the second has left. You can export a follower list with the Twitter follower scraper and compare two exports in a spreadsheet. This tracker covers the headline number only.
How to track your Twitter followers
- Type or paste an X (Twitter) @handle, or a full profile URL.
- Click "Track".
- Read the current followers, following and posts.
- Return on another day and check the same handle to see the change and the chart.
- Keep the habit weekly if you want a trend line you can trust.
Tips for better results
- Check at the same time each day. Counts move all day, so a fixed time gives cleaner comparisons.
- A flat total can hide churn. If you need to know who left, compare two exported follower lists.
- A sudden jump in followers with no jump in engagement is worth a look. Our fake follower checker is a good next step.
- The history lives in this browser only. If you want the trend, use the same browser and don't clear site data.
Frequently asked questions
How do I track my Twitter followers over time?
Enter your @handle here and check it again on later days. The page saves each check in your browser and shows the change since your last visit with a small chart. Tracking starts the first time you check an account.
Can I see who unfollowed me on X?
Not from this page. X does not publish unfollows. The reliable method is to export your follower list on two different days and compare them. Anyone missing from the newer list has left.
Why is there no history for the account I just checked?
X does not publish past follower counts. A tracker can only record from the day it starts watching, so your first check is the starting point and changes show up from the second check onward.
Where is my tracking history stored?
In your own browser's local storage on this device. We do not receive it. Clearing site data or switching browsers starts the history over.
Can I track someone else's account?
You can check any public account. Private, suspended and renamed accounts will not resolve. The page reads only the public totals.
Is the follower tracker free?
Yes. There is no sign-up. To keep things fair for everyone, each browser is limited to about 20 lookups per hour.
